This Qiunhang fitness bracelet is helpful if you want to monitor various aspects of your health by monitoring exercise, heart rate, sleep quality and so on.
First- you receive two sizes of wrist straps and the largest fit my husband's very large wrist just fine.
The nylon band appeared black in the listing photos but actually says "dark color" and in actuality is dark green.
You use this by downloading a free QRing app.
There are zero costs involved in the way of subscriptions, so that's good.
Once downloaded you have zero instructions on how to use it. The included paperwork only tells you how to charge it. The charger is one of those magnetic things that is easily bumped off when you set it down, so double check that it is in place. Fortunately you shouldn't have to charge it often.
The lack of directions is annoying. So you have to sit and play with it and figure out how to navigate where the settings are and how to get Imperial measurements and weights. It is fairly intuitive but I am still finding aspects of it that I did not run across the first day- the reminder to drink water being one.
Some instructions would have been nice. Even scouring the web gave me only retail sites with the same information in the listing here.
It is fairly accurate. It did grant me 16 steps before I even got up out of my chair, but since then has kept what I think is a decent accounting.
It does reset every night at midnight and you can page backward to see yesterday's numbers.
Again- instructions? The listing says 24/7 support but I am not making a phone call and being on hold every time I need to know where a setting is. It's one small piece of paper, is that so hard?
All in all it pretty much does what it says it will do. The 170+ "sports modes" are simply monitoring things it monitors all the time anyway- heartbeats per minute and calories burned. There's a lock function on each sport page that I have no idea what is because again- no instructions.
At first I found no way to remove or rearrange what functions are monitored. The section for tracking menstrual cycles should be optional as I have no need to have to scroll past that every time I check something.
After a couple of days I did figure out how to manage my home screen, but I'll say it again- instructions would have been nice.
At this price point it is a fun gadget to track steps, sleep quality, heart rate, activity levels, and so on.
But the lack of instructions cost them one star.
Despite all of my complaints about lack of instructions once you get it all figured out I think it does a great job at tracking things especially for this price point.
And the fact that the app is free with no ongoing subscription costs makes it even better.
I know that some people intuitively know how to navigate apps for electronics like this but I like to look up how to do stuff instead of fumbling around and instructions would have been appreciated even if it is just a web page somewhere.
