Full tub!
Mixes well in water, I add crystal light for taste. 30g per serving is great as well as 51 servings. Good value considering the price of more marketed brands. Was cautious about getting unflavored at first but I now realize that unflavored is the best option for versatility, I’m not stuck with the same flavor for 2 months, I could easily switch it up by adding my own ingredients.

    Better than expected!

Last year, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder. Among other things, it turned out I wasn't even getting a third of my daily protein. I figured it wouldn't be too hard to add a protein drink each day.

I always heard that protein powder tastes awful, so I actually started out with the flavoured kind. Then I realized there were a ton of additives, so I made the switch to this stuff. I expected it to be gross, but this tastes like powdered milk!

It was easy to mix into my water by using the whisk attachment on my immersion blender. There were a couple of small clumps, but I think I just need to mix it another thirty seconds.

The bucket is a nice size, but the lid is inconvenient for me due to neuropathy. I got powder on my shirt. I transferred the stuff to a jar with a screw on lid for future use.

ASTOUNDING THAT GEN Z'ers WHINE ABOUT THE BUCKET!

Im not really sure who is complaining about getting the lid off of this amazing bucket container. I have been using protein powders for the past 40 years and once I went through the learning curve of realizing that the isolate is the purest variety, I've never looked back at the other ones. But, that being said, because isolate is always the most expensive, I'm always looking for the best price. I found this one to be the best price available at the time so I purchased it, and it is 100% top notch protein. The kicker is, that once you use your brain to open the bucket the initial time, you realize that once you finish the protein two months down the road, you're going to have an amazing storage bucket. So although I don't buy it because of the amazing bucket, it is a fantastic perk at the end. I can only imagine that the people who cannot open it for the first time have never opened a 5 gallon paint bucket to paint a room, or a house! It's just common sense.

I opened one of the two buckets, but noticed an unusual aftertaste, unlike typical whey protein isolate, which raises concerns about the product’s quality. Additionally, the bucket is hard to open and requires scissors.

Taste is decent (milk) / initial bloating

The taste is fairly decent, what you’d expect from unflavored protein…

Comparing this product to another similar brand (Pure Choice Farms)- Unflavored with very few ingredients as well, and LOVED it, but it was extremely expensive.

Found this brand hoping to have a cheaper alternative, for the first few weeks I noticed unusual bloating and gas. No change in my diet, whatsoever.

After about a month of use, my stomach seems to have adjusted to this protein and the somewhat intense bloating has sufficed.

Mixes fine, just be sure to give some good shakes.

Good quality / quantity for the price!

There are insurmountable flaws I will not deal with again.

I like this Whey Protein Isolate Powder. I have bought it twice, but I will not be buying it again. There are two things I find too much trouble dealing in relation to this product: 1) The lid is MUCH harder than necessary to get off. Yes, I agree that the product needs to be safe from anything getting in to contaminate. Yes, I agree that having the lid pop off is also not a good idea. However, it ought not take a Box Cutter and a pair of Vice Grip Pliers to get the lid off, but it does. The second time I had to struggle with the lid, I called the container manufacturer to complain. Of course I got all the excuses and platitudes in response, but this is my last rodeo with this lid. 2) The powder is supposed to dissolve in whatever a person uses to make a smoothie. However, I have found that it will not dissolve easily in either cold OR hot liquid. Fervently mashing the powder against the side of the cup and briskly stirring the fluid takes 5 minutes. It makes no difference regarding the liquid used, as neither hot nor cold liquids make any difference. Other protein powders I have used in the past used Soy Lecithin, which dissolves rapidly without too much struggle in either hot or cold liquid. This one uses Sunflower Lecithin. To me, it is obvious that Soy is better at rapid dissolving than Sunflower. I wish this company well, as this product has many qualities going for it, but as for me, I am done.

Best unflavored whey isolate I have found

Let's just say – there's a reason most whey products are flavored and sweetened. However, of all the unflavored whey isolate powders I have tried, this one is the best textured and the most neutral tasting. It dissolves well, not in clumps, and is not too noticeable when mixed with milk. I had to use a pair of pliers to open the container. The most recent delivery was also covered in some kind of grease or surfactant which had to be washed off before opening.

2026 Review: This protein has changed since the last 2 times I ordered it – it's quite chalky now and doesn't mix well at all!!! Very clumpy and thick! I'm not a happy camper. I had to test this protein for authenticity, by butting it in boiling water. Lots of small clumps but also a lot of it dissolved (which is not good). Anyways during my test I looked for the size of curdled particles and it was very small. – also a lot of this so called protein has dissolved, indicating fillers and starches present in the protein. So I conducted a starch test by putting iodine in the solution . The solution turned blackish color indicating starches/carbs! I can no longer recommend this protein. In my 3 years of taking protein daily this most definitely feels off/fake for a whey isolate, I really want a refund 🙁 Will be complaining to Amazon !!!

2023 Review: It's awesome!!! Super high quality, mixes well – no clumps
Very high quality protein, and I got it way back when it was $20, now the prices for whey protein went up like crazy. So what did I like about this product? 1. Loved the bucket, it was convenient, didn't spill, and with the handle you can transport it easily! 2.Came with a little shovel buried inside 3.The quality of protein was easily mixable and I could tell it was super high quality! 4.Unflavored meant I could just pop whatever flavor I wanted – from chocolate to pineapple to banana to strawberry, and wasnt Stuck with one boring flavor all month!!! Highly recommended, great vendor ("hidden gems" category). If it does on sale again, definitely will re-purchase again!
